Data Platform Engineer

Overview

Support the data platform blueprint and design, including the relevant data platform components, in collaboration with Integration Architects and Data Architects to ensure cohesive integration between systems and data models.

What you'll do

• Support the development and refinement of the data platform architecture so all components align with the overall blueprint.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data platform components are aligned with business requirements.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving data platform issues to maintain system reliability.
• Document processes and best practices to support knowledge sharing within the team.
• Support junior team members by providing guidance and sharing expertise.
• Participate actively in team discussions and contribute to solutions for work-related problems.
• Work independently and become a subject matter expert.

What you'll need

• Proficiency in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
• Experience with cloud-based data processing and storage solutions.
• Strong understanding of data integration techniques and data modeling concepts.
• Familiarity with scripting and automation to optimize data workflows.
• Ability to analyze and optimize performance of data pipelines and platform components.
• 15 years full time education.
