Data Platform Engineer

Overview

Assists with the data platform blueprint and design, including the relevant data platform components. Collaborates with Integration Architects and Data Architects to ensure cohesive integration between systems and data models.

What you'll do

• Contribute to the development and refinement of the data platform blueprint and design.
• Collaborate with Integration Architects and Data Architects to ensure seamless integration across systems and data models.
• Align platform components to support organizational data needs.
• Coordinate efforts among different teams to maintain the integrity and scalability of the data platform infrastructure.
• Act as an SME, collaborate with and manage the team to perform.
• Take responsibility for team decisions and contribute on key decisions across multiple teams.
• Provide solutions to problems for the immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead efforts to optimize data platform performance and scalability.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to enhance technical capabilities.
• Coordinate cross-functional collaboration to align data platform initiatives with business objectives.

What you'll need

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
• Proficiency in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
• 15 years full time education.
• Experience with distributed computing frameworks and big data processing techniques.
• Strong understanding of data integration and data modeling concepts.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data storage and processing solutions.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex data platform issues efficiently.
• Knowledge of automation and orchestration tools to streamline data workflows.
