Data Product Manager

Overview

Data Product Manager for Global Manufacturing & Supply (GMS) at Zoetis, accountable for delivering advanced data capabilities that support digital transformation of manufacturing and supply chain operations, using the integrated Digital and Data Platform (DDP).

What you'll do

• Take full ownership of the GMS product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs (20% of time).
• Collaborate with business partners and cross-functional teams to refine and plan data features and requirements (20% of time).
• Engage with stakeholders to gather and synthesize high-level requirements and feedback (15% of time).
• Oversee delivery and adoption of GMS data analytics solutions (15% of time).
• Ensure alignment of GMS data products with business objectives and compliance (10% of time).
• Make decisions on feature prioritization and resource allocation (10% of time).
• Monitor product performance and drive continuous improvement (5% of time).
• Communicate progress, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership (5% of time).

What you'll need

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Data Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 8+ years' experience in product management, data analytics, or digital platform delivery (preferably in manufacturing, supply chain, or life sciences).
• Deep knowledge of SAP supply chain and manufacturing processes, with the ability to translate operational needs into data solutions.
• Understanding of data migration principles: source-to-target mapping, data quality, reconciliation, and ensuring continuity of data products through the S/4 transition (ECC to S/4HANA).
• Familiarity with SAP master and transactional data structures and how they flow into the enterprise data platform to support integrated, cross-functional analytics.
• Proven track record of managing product backlogs, prioritizing requirements, and collaborating in agile environments.
• Experience with source control and collaboration tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps).
• Strong understanding of data platforms, analytics solutions, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate complex business needs into clear technical requirements.
• Experience working with global teams and driving cross-functional initiatives.
• Ability to drive a project and work both independently and in a team.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Azure and Databricks.

Details

• Location: Hyderabad (Zoetis India Capability Center).
• Full-time position.
• Regular working hours are 11 AM to 8:00 PM IST.
• Sometimes more overlap with the EST time zone is required during production go-live.
