Data Scientist

Overview

Data Scientist role in the Insights & Product Analytics team, focused on high-impact data science initiatives that turn structured and unstructured data into actionable insights and decision support.

What you'll do

• Execute large-scale data science projects using structured and unstructured data.
• Extract, interpret, and visualize insights using machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI techniques.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design and deliver cutting-edge solutions.
• Innovate in text analytics and knowledge retrieval to produce recommendations and explainable insights.
• Own high-visibility programs that translate business objectives into measurable results.
• Define evaluation standards and implement guardrails, prompt engineering, retrieval quality, and hallucination control.
• Ensure responsible AI practices including data privacy, IP, safety, and auditability.

What you'll need

• 3–6 years overall experience in data science/AI/ML roles.
• Proficiency in Python and strong data science/ML/DL/LLM/Transformer skills.
• Experience with NLP and advanced ML/DL algorithms, embeddings, and vector databases (e.g., FAISS, pgvector).
• Practical experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) for training, deployment, and scaling.
• Knowledge of responsible AI, privacy, auditability, and code management using GitHub/Bitbucket and documentation tools.
• Hands-on experience handling large-scale unstructured text data and familiarity with distributed computing (Spark/Databricks).
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field with AI/Data Science focus.
