Overview
Data Scientist / AI Engineer (AVP) focused on creating and implementing AI solutions for Corporate Banking and Investment Banking Operations and Controls (CBIBOC).
What you'll do
- Drive adoption of AI and analytics best practices across CBIBOC, IT (TDI), and Deutsche Bank.
- Ensure AI governance requirements are met for new solutions.
- Lead design, development, and implementation of AI solutions with squad team members.
- Work with business stakeholders to identify AI opportunities, use cases, and priorities.
- Evaluate and prioritize AI use cases based on ROI, alignment, feasibility, and risk.
- Test, validate, monitor, and apply controls (e.g., guardrails, access permissions) for AI solutions.
- Maintain centralized inventory of AI solutions and ensure approvals before production.
What you'll need
- Experience delivering production solutions using classical machine learning and/or cutting-edge AI tools.
- Experience with data science/AI developer tools such as GitHub, VS Code, PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, MLflow, Weights & Biases, Jupyter Notebook, Hugging Face, Langchain/Langgraph, Google Vertex, and Neo4J.
- Experience using no-code/low-code AI tools (e.g., Microsoft AI Builder/Power Automate, Google AI Studio, etc.) for automation solutions.
- Experience with data/feature engineering and modern data solutions such as BigQuery, Looker, PostgreSQL, Pinecone, Spark, Clickhouse, MongoDB, Redis, Databricks, Denodo, and Snowflake.
- Strong knowledge of AI risk management across the solution lifecycle, including access controls and performance monitoring.
- Ability to write/review Python code and experience using AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot).
- SQL and Java experience is desirable but not essential.
