Database Administrator II

What you'll do

• Proactively identify and resolve system availability and performance concerns.
• Ensure system security.
• Create and maintain encryption and replication strategies between various database environments.
• Drive work to closure and contribute to the refinement of team processes.

What you'll need

• Seven or more years of direct experience working as a Postgres Database Administrator.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or relevant experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with automation and configuration management tools.
• Experience with performance tuning utilizing indexes, disk and query optimizations, and other methods.
• Experience with database replication and failover mechanisms.
• Experience with encryption methodologies for databases.
• Experience with database clustering techniques.
• Hands-on experience with Postgres database technology.
