DC-Buyer-Planner

Overview

The DC Buyer Planner plans finished goods and meets OTD and daily targets for finished goods, reporting to the Team Lead - Materials Planning within the Centre of Excellence team in Bengaluru, India.

What you'll do

• Plan FG items based on forecast and demand.
• Meet OTD for customer orders.
• Manage internal, OTO and drop ship orders.
• Manage purchase orders.
• Set up and maintain IMAG for FG items.
• Analyze root cause for OTD missed lines and update Pareto's.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions as part of the Problem-Solving Process.
• Manage inventory at respective distribution centers.
• Create scrap tickets for expired/obsolete items and work with the warehouse team to clear stock in Oracle.
• Run Daily Management for FG planning.
• Achieve sales revenue target.
• Validate, process and ward invoices for dropship orders.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience of 5+ years in procurement, supply chain, planning and inventory management roles within a distribution or warehouse environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to interact with suppliers, internal teams, and stakeholders effectively.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP and Oracle preferred).

Nice to have

• Monitor stock levels to ensure sufficient inventory is available to meet customer demand while minimizing excess and scrap.
• Evaluate supplier performance to ensure quality and reliability.
