Overview
Demand Planner supporting Lubricants Americas by forecasting demand and helping balance supply and demand across North and South American sales channels.
What you'll do
- Develop forecast models for several thousand finished-goods SKUs.
- Build relationships with assigned sales channels to understand strategy and pipeline risk.
- Quantify sales and marketing impacts and incorporate them into forecasts.
- Produce risked volume and value forecasts using qualitative and quantitative inputs.
- Drive continuous improvement in forecast accuracy.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain on demand management and trade-offs.
- Develop alternate strategies to balance supply and demand and support enterprise profit plans.
What you'll need
- At least 3 years of forecasting experience.
- Experience leveraging statistical modeling and analytics.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and data-based communication skills.
- Attention to detail and time management skills.
- Experience balancing competing priorities and challenging deadlines.
Nice to have
- Demand planning or supply chain analytics experience.
- Experience with SAP or other demand or supply chain planning software.
- Skills in data analytics, statistical software, reporting, or data visualization tools such as Power BI.
Details
- Based in Bangalore, India.
- Working hours align with US hours in Houston, with some flexibility.
- Regular employment.
- Shift allowance of INR 475 per day for off-shift requirements, in addition to regular salary.
