Deputy Chief Manager - Finance

Overview

Lead financial accounting, statutory reporting, audits, taxation, compliance, corporate governance and working capital processes across multiple legal entities for Piramal Critical Care, and supervise one team member.

What you'll do

• Coordinate statutory financial statements, external audits and limited reviews, and ensure timely completion of regulatory reporting requirements.
• Manage corporate tax, VAT and transfer pricing compliance and tax filings across multiple jurisdictions, including tax audits, assessments and advisor interactions.
• Oversee compliance for European legal entities and branches, including statutory filings, governance requirements and regulatory obligations.
• Partner with the GBSS Record-to-Report team to review financial results, monitor reconciliations, resolve accounting issues and ensure timely month-end close.
• Monitor key controls, coordinate internal audits, manage remediation activities and ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with GBSS Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams to improve collections, reduce overdue receivables, optimize DSO, enhance payment timeliness and resolve customer and vendor issues.
• Act as the key finance contact for local entity matters, working closely with business stakeholders, auditors, tax advisors, legal counsel and shared service teams, and manage one direct report.

What you'll need

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, compliance and controllership roles.
• Experience managing statutory audits and regulatory compliance.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, audit, taxation and internal controls.
• Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills.
• Strong attention to detail, focusing on accuracy and integrity in financial reporting and analysis.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines.

Nice to have

• Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP/S4HANA.
• Exposure to multinational environments and multiple legal entities.
