Deputy Manager - Finance

Overview

Deputy Manager in Finance working closely with the Manager Finance and Finance Controller as a key member of the R2R/FSCP process, owning inventory valuation, provisions and profit elimination working.

What you'll do

• Finalize monthly and quarterly management books of accounts.
• Review monthly account reconciliations and overall accounts hygiene.
• Investigate and analyse items, including preparation of financial reconciliations.
• Drive monthly cross charges to inter-company parties.
• Evaluate, develop and improve department controls, systems and procedures to increase accuracy and efficiency.
• Drive automation of reports through IT platforms to reduce manual processes.
• Identify and implement process simplification to drive improvement.
• Partner with consultants and auditors to improve execution and audits, ensuring they are relevant and enforceable.
• Document all important processes using SOPs.
• Ensure SOPs and Delegation of Authority are followed, and evaluate and correct any deviations.

What you'll need

• Chartered Accountant with 3 to 5 years of proven experience in an accounting or finance role.
• Excellent knowledge of U.S. GAAP and Ind AS.
• Experience in end-to-end management and responsibility for statutory audit, IFC / SOX and tax audit.
• Experience with audit methodologies and techniques.
• Ability to work well independently and in a multi-reporting structure.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task and meet timelines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong interpersonal oral and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Proven dedication to the principles of Integrity, Respect and Excellence.
• Proficiency in the English language.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP.
