Deputy Manager, Procurement

Overview

Deputy Manager, Procurement responsible for delivering Source to Contract across indirect categories with a focus on Facilities, Capital & Logistics, working with global category and local market teams.

What you'll do

• Execute sourcing and contracting projects for spend categories in scope, aligned with stakeholder requirements and in partnership with the global category team.
• Deliver benefits identified in local, regional and global strategies, aligned to assurance of supply (risk management), quality, service, cost and innovation.
• Ensure GSK Procurement policies, procedures, processes, systems and methodologies are used in a compliant manner in the area of responsibility.
• Support category leads in creating and delivering savings targets agreed with key stakeholders and Finance in accordance with the agreed Savings Methodology.
• Deliver savings and other set KPIs critical to global procurement plans in line with global budgets.
• Partner with Category and LOC Procurement teams to execute global, regional and local sourcing projects.
• Execute and deliver contracting requirements in line with organisation requirements.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to deploy strategies globally and regionally, supported by robust implementation and transition plans.
• Resolve escalations, including from senior business stakeholders, timely and tactfully.
• Understand and efficiently navigate organisational complexity to deliver set goals.

What you'll need

• 5-8 years of relevant experience in sourcing and contracting within Facilities, Capital and Logistics categories.
• Strong demonstrated procurement expertise in commercial and contract negotiations, strategic sourcing, indirect category management and cost model synthesis for multi-country, high spend complex engagements.
• Strong experience using tools such as Ariba, Fairmarkit or other equivalent sourcing execution technology.

Nice to have

• Experience in logistics.
