Design Engineer

Overview

Design Engineer role focused on engineering change management and creating core design documentation for compressors and related parts.

What you'll do

• Execute ECN activities and ensure accurate implementation in design documentation.
• Create, review, and modify 3D models and 2D drawings for compressors and tubing for 2–3 compressors in series.
• Manage and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM) within PLM systems.
• Apply GD&T knowledge and tolerance stack-up to verify part fitment and propose solutions.
• Coordinate design changes with manufacturing feasibility and product requirements.
• Work with PLM tools for data management, version control, and release processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and conduct design reviews.

What you'll need

• BE/BTech – Mechanical.
• 2–4 years of experience in design engineering for refrigeration/air conditioning applications.
• Strong understanding of CAD for 3D modeling and 2D drawing.
• Strong understanding of design standards, GD&T, and manufacturing processes.
• Good understanding of HVAC systems.
• Ability to correlate manufacturing requirements (casting, machining, sheet metal, etc.).
• Excellent English communication (written and verbal) and strong relationship/interpersonal skills.
