Design Engineer

Overview

Design Engineer role at ABB Motion, acting as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity.

What you'll do

• Complete engineering assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner.
• Apply basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects.
• Evaluate, select, and apply standard techniques and procedures for engineering assignments.
• Provide technical support for testing, installation, and commissioning activities.
• Assist in preparing proposal/presentation of engineering projects.
• Use checklists to perform design verification according to applicable standards and engineering guidelines.

What you'll need

• Strong knowledge on Drive Cabinet Engineering.
• Knowledge of Testing service and commissioning or Drive cabinet.
• Good experience on SAP systems.
• Experience with EPLAN.
• Experience with Ado CAD.
