Project Engineer

Overview

Project Engineer to act as a design authority for an electrical engineering discipline supporting excitation-related work in ABB’s Automation segment.

What you'll do

• Apply standard techniques and procedures for engineering assignments.
• Provide technical support for testing, installation, and commissioning activities.
• Assist in preparing proposals and presentations for engineering projects.
• Use checklists to perform design verification against applicable standards and engineering guidelines.

What you'll need

• 3 to 7 years of experience in project engineering, with direct design experience.
• Experience with E3 or EPlan for design work.
• Advanced knowledge of electrical design and engineering in excitation or LV drives.
• Commitment to project engineering with a focus on excitation systems.
• Diploma or B.E/B.Tech degree in Electronics, EEE, Electrical Engineering, or Electronics & Communication.
• Proficiency in written and verbal communication in English.
