Overview

Detection Engineer- SkillBridge Intern supporting Red Canary’s 24/7 threat detection by building and improving detections using Red Canary’s detection platform.

What you'll do

• Use Red Canary’s detection platform to analyze EDR telemetry, alerts, and log sources across multiple detection domains.
• Publish threats to customers using concisely written communication that conveys key indicators.
• Research coverage opportunities to create new detectors and tune existing ones.
• Improve the Detection Engineering workflow through orchestration and automation.

What you'll need

• Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience using, securing, or positioning AI-driven solutions.
• Cybersecurity operational experience focused on Detection and Response.
• Be located in the United States during the SkillBridge program.
• Be a current Active Duty United States military member or Guard/Reserve member on active duty orders for at least the last 180 days.
• Have Unit commander approval and an approved MOU submitted before start.
