Overview

Developer role in the Data & Analytics area, focused on Business Intelligence tools and data warehousing, based in Chennai, India.

What you'll do

• Utilize AI-enabled analytics capabilities, including intelligent insights, automated reporting, predictive analysis, and generative AI tools, to improve decision-making and business outcomes.
• Develop a strong understanding of both business processes and technical solutions, demonstrating end-to-end analytical capabilities across functional and technology domains.
• Work in Data & Analytics, especially Business Intelligence tools and Data Warehousing technologies, with hands-on use of multiple BI tools.
• Design solutions and develop reports and dashboards to address functional and logical requirements in supply chain, finance and other business areas.
• Work on SDLC projects in collaboration with different teams.
• Build, enhance, and optimize reports, dashboards, semantic layers, and data visualizations to meet business needs.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize BI reports, ETL processes, and database objects to maintain and improve system performance.
• Communicate well with team members and with non-technical end users.

What you'll need

• 2-5 years of experience in the technologies listed below.
• Ability to work on BI requirements from simple to complex reports and dashboards.
• Must have work experience in more than one BI tool such as MicroStrategy, Denodo and Power BI.
• Experience in BI tools MicroStrategy, Tableau and Power BI, and data visualization with Denodo.
• Working experience with security options in BI tools, such as row-level and column-level security and Query Banding.
• Experience in database technologies: Oracle/SQL/Snowflake, and strong in SQL and PL/SQL.
• Self-directed, organized, and motivated, with enthusiasm for learning new technologies.

Nice to have

• Basic understanding of AI, Machine Learning, Generative AI, and AI-powered analytics capabilities within BI and data platforms.
• Working experience migrating from one BI tool to another.
• Experience or knowledge of the latest data management platforms such as Snowflake.
• Exposure to Python, AI/ML frameworks, or AI-enabled analytics platforms.
