Overview
DevOps Engineer responsible for building and maintaining infrastructure platforms and deployment pipelines that support applications and data systems, with a focus on reliability, scalability, security, and automation.
What you'll do
- Develop, deliver, and maintain infrastructure solutions to support reliability, performance, and availability.
- Monitor IT infrastructure and system performance to identify and resolve issues, vulnerabilities, or outages.
- Use data to drive down mean time to resolution.
- Build and implement automated tasks and processes to reduce manual intervention.
- Implement secure configurations and protections against cyber-attacks and unauthorized access.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other engineers to define infrastructure requirements and ensure integration.
- Lead or supervise a team where leadership responsibilities exist.
What you'll need
- In-depth technical knowledge and experience in the assigned area of expertise.
- Experience as a DevOps Engineer supporting large-scale, enterprise-grade applications.
- Proficiency in CI/CD tooling including Gradle, Maven, Docker, and pipeline orchestration via GitLab and Jenkins.
- Containerization expertise with Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
- Advanced scripting across PowerShell/Bash/Python/Ruby/Java/.NET.
- Understanding of version control systems (Git/GitLab) and build automation tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle, Ant, NPM).
- Knowledge of code quality and security platforms including SonarQube and Veracode.
Nice to have
- Experience integrating third-party/vendor platforms and managing secure external connectivity.
- Cross-platform experience with Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
- Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Confluence, JIRA, Bitbucket, ServiceNow).
- Incident and problem management capabilities focused on rapid issue resolution and uptime optimization.
- Experience analyzing application performance metrics using ELK Stack and AppDynamics.
