DevOps Engineer

Overview

As a DevOps Engineer, design, build, and maintain development tools and infrastructure supporting continuous integration, delivery, and deployment. Set up secure and efficient pipelines, collaborate with multiple teams, and help maintain reliable development environments.

What you'll do

• Build and set up new development tools and infrastructure utilizing CI/CD, cloud technologies, container orchestration, and security.
• Build and test end-to-end CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure systems are safe against security threats.
• Design, build, and maintain development tools and infrastructure.
• Automate software builds and tests.
• Collaborate with various teams to streamline workflows and enhance system reliability.
• Monitor and troubleshoot the development environment to maintain optimal performance.
• Collaborate and manage the team to perform as an SME.
• Make team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for the immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead the implementation of best practices in infrastructure automation and deployment strategies.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to foster continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with security teams to integrate security measures into the development lifecycle.

What you'll need

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Laboratory Information and Execution Systems.
• Proficiency in Laboratory Information and Execution Systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms and container orchestration technologies.
• Strong understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment methodologies.
• Ability to design and implement secure and scalable infrastructure solutions.
• Familiarity with automation tools and scripting languages to streamline workflows.
• 15 years full time education.
