Senior DevOps Engineer

Overview

Senior DevOps Engineer for PVH’s Enterprise Data Platform team, focused on maturing engineering, automation, deployment, monitoring, and operations for a global data platform.

What you'll do

• Design, build, and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines for EDP data engineering assets and Databricks workloads.
• Build and improve Terraform modules for AWS and Databricks infrastructure and platform components.
• Implement and standardize Databricks Asset Bundles for Databricks deployments across environments.
• Support AWS platform components including S3, IAM, KMS, STS, VPC networking, and PrivateLink.
• Support release governance across Dev, QA, QA2, Prod, and DR including validation and rollback planning.
• Improve monitoring and alerting for Databricks jobs/workflows, SQL warehouses, batch SLAs, and platform health.
• Automate least-privilege access and govern security controls using IAM, Unity Catalog, encryption, and audit logging.

What you'll need

• 6+ years of DevOps/platform engineering/cloud engineering/data platform engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD.
• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation.
• Experience with AWS infrastructure, especially S3, IAM, KMS, STS, VPC, subnets, security groups, VPC endpoints, and PrivateLink.
• Experience with Databricks platform engineering or deployment automation.
• Strong scripting experience using Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages.
• Experience supporting production platforms with monitoring, alerting, logging, incident management, and operational runbooks.
