DevOps Engineer

Overview

Design, build and maintain development tools and infrastructure that support continuous integration, delivery and deployment, with a focus on secure and efficient pipelines and ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM).

What you'll do

• Build and test end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, ensuring systems are safe against security threats.
• Set up new development tools and infrastructure utilizing knowledge in continuous integration, delivery and deployment.
• Integrate cloud technologies and container orchestration solutions in collaboration with various teams.
• Monitor and enhance security measures to protect the development environment from potential threats.
• Act as SME, collaborate with and manage the team, and make team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions, providing solutions to problems for the immediate team and across teams.
• Lead the implementation of best practices in continuous integration and deployment to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team.
• Coordinate with security teams to ensure compliance with organizational and industry standards.
• Support junior team members by providing guidance and assistance in resolving technical challenges.

What you'll need

• Proficiency in ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM).
• Strong experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment tools and methodologies.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms and container orchestration technologies.
• Ability to design and implement secure infrastructure and pipelines.
• Familiarity with automation scripting and configuration management.
• Experience in monitoring, troubleshooting and optimizing development environments.
• 15 years full time education.
