DevOps Engineer

Overview

Hands-on DevOps Engineer and security champion for Guidewire’s Professional Services AI Engineering team in Bangalore. Own security implementation across an internal AI engineering platform and AI productization projects.

What you'll do

• Stand up and operate authentication flows (JWT, AWS Cognito, SSO integrations, and machine-to-machine auth).
• Implement authentication/authorization access control patterns (RBAC and ABAC) and maintain a reusable authorization library.
• Translate compliance requirements (SOC 2, regional data privacy, customer-driven controls) into technical controls.
• Implement IP and network controls (IP restrictions, VPC network segmentation, traffic policies).
• Build and maintain a security patterns library used by Strike Teams by default.
• Conduct security reviews for designs, support customer audits, and partner on security-focused testing standards.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of software engineering experience focused on security implementation.
• Expert knowledge of authentication and authorization patterns (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT, SAML).
• Hands-on experience with AWS Cognito, IAM, KMS, and Secrets Manager.
• Backend development experience in Python, Java, or TypeScript for security engineering work.
• Working knowledge of compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR) and translating them into engineering controls.
• Familiarity with secure CI/CD and supply-chain security (SBOM, dependency scanning).
