Overview

DevOps Engineer III responsible for architecting, scaling, and automating a multi-cloud platform that supports extremely high request volumes.

What you'll do

Design and code custom Kubernetes controllers, mutating admission webhooks, and operators.
Build chaos engineering frameworks to continuously inject failures into multi-region active-active production.
Optimize compute and cloud spend using programmatic techniques such as CPU pinning, eBPF routing, and spot-instance strategies.
Implement a zero-trust security mesh integrated into CI/CD release loops with runtime auditing and cryptographic attestation.

What you'll need

Have hands-on systems programming skills in Go, Rust, or C++ plus expert-level Python/Bash for systems automation.
Understand Linux kernel tuning and networking technologies including eBPF.
Know service mesh internals (e.g., Istio/Cilium) and BGP routing.
Have intuition for distributed consensus concepts like Raft/Paxos and CAP theorem trade-offs.
Meet expected baseline certifications such as CKA and AWS/GCP Professional Architect or Security Specialty.
