DevOps Infrastructure Senior Technology Analyst - Assistant Vice President

Overview

Assist with LAN/WAN and help desk administration, including network maintenance, technical guidance and security, in coordination with the Technology Infrastructure team. Use infrastructure technology knowledge and identified policies to process data, resolve issues and execute administrative tasks.

What you'll do

• Carry out IaaS deployments of IBM WAS ND, Tibco, MQ, Kafka, IHS, Apache, WebLogic and Tomcat.
• Apply in-depth expertise in Kubernetes tasks.
• Deploy containerized Java, Python, Node.js, Nginx, PEGA, Redis and Spark solutions on Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Manage traffic patterns, including ingress, egress and hot-hot cross data center.
• Drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) after service restoration.
• Whiteboard solutions for customers.
• Review requirement documents, define hardware requirements, and examine and update processes and procedures as necessary.
• Provide technical and strategic direction, and act as advisor and coach to lower-level analysts.
• Develop projects for metrics design, analytical tools, benchmarking and best practices.
• Be responsible for overall operating system applications.
• Contribute to technical direction and strategic decisions.
• Act as SME to senior stakeholders and/or other team members.
• Assess risk appropriately when making business decisions, driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

What you'll need

• 12 years of experience in Infrastructure Technologies delivery, with a proven track record of delivering OpenShift containerization, middleware infrastructure setups, CI-CD pipelines, virtualization, load balancers and database services as solutions.
• Experience working in Financial Services and in large, complex, global environments.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
• Ability to work with virtual and in-person teams, and to work under pressure or to a deadline.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Effective analytic and diagnostic skills.
• Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.
