Overview
Own and evolve the AWS cloud infrastructure, deployment processes, security, monitoring, and operational platform supporting EVS Labs’ software products. Partner with development teams to provide reliable, secure, reproducible, and scalable systems.
What you'll do
- Own AWS provisioning, networking, and services including ECS Fargate, RDS/PostgreSQL, S3, and SQS.
- Manage Terraform infrastructure as code across development, staging, and production.
- Build CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, automated testing, deployments, and rollbacks.
- Establish monitoring, alerting, and observability using CloudWatch and related tools.
- Lead incident response, root-cause analysis, and operational automation.
- Own platform security including IAM, network security, secrets, access controls, and data isolation.
- Partner with and mentor full-stack, data, GIS, AI, and automation developers.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Four to seven years of professional DevOps, platform, infrastructure, or related experience.
- Hands-on AWS experience with ECS/Fargate, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC/networking, SQS, CloudWatch, and secrets management.
- Strong Terraform and infrastructure-as-code proficiency.
- Experience with CI/CD, GitHub Actions or comparable tools, Docker, and containerized services.
- Experience supporting production systems with observability, incident response, reliability, and cloud security practices.
- Experience with Python, SQL, and PostgreSQL-backed systems.
Nice to have
- Experience integrating Azure Entra ID or other identity and SSO solutions.
