Digital Technology Senior Specialist - Enterprise Architecture

Overview

Senior Specialist in Enterprise Architecture on the Solution Architecture team, providing technical solutions to domain businesses, products and services, with a focus on cloud infrastructure and enterprise GenAI architecture.

What you'll do

• Understand business requirements and come up with technical solutions in the form of digital products or services.
• Assess conceptual designs and explain proposed solutions.
• Enforce policies, processes, and frameworks that guide the development, deployment, and maintenance of technology within the business.
• Present ideas and projects to business stakeholders, explain proposed architecture solutions, present findings, and explain why a product may not fit business needs.
• Oversee the hiring and training of team members to equip them with the skills and knowledge needed to deliver the team's strategic goals.
• Work closely with stakeholders, such as product managers, designers, and quality assurance professionals, to ensure project alignment with business goals.
• Ensure continuous business improvement according to benchmarks and standards, and make decisions related to technology choices, design/architectural considerations, and implementation strategy.
• Drive projects forward when setbacks occur.
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, encouraging team members to explore new ideas and technologies.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks.
• Contribute technical architecture oversight to project timelines and budgets, and ensure design and technology alignment meet technical governance standards.
• Standardize patterns to enable scale, stability, and consistency.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a STEM major (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math).
• Minimum of 8 years' experience designing cloud infrastructure with commercial/enterprise products.
• At least 1 year spent implementing GenAI technologies such as AWS Bedrock and AgentCore.
• Experience designing and deploying Enterprise GenAI Architecture, with expertise in LLM and GenAI Fundamentals.
• Expertise in RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation).
• Expertise in Agentic AI Security and Governance.
• Expertise in Cloud Platforms AI offerings (AWS preferred, Azure).
• Technical knowledge of Cloud Compute, Networking, Cybersecurity, Container Engines, Database, Storage, and CI/CD.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders, team members, and other departments.
• Ability to address and resolve technical and managerial challenges.
