Lead AI Architect

Overview

Lead AI Architect role responsible for designing and developing IT architecture solutions (integrated process, applications, data and technology) aligned with enterprise architecture direction and standards.

What you'll do

• Design and develop IT architecture solutions to business problems in alignment with enterprise architecture direction and standards.
• Ensure standard architecture decisions are implemented consistently across business and IT to support business and IT strategy.
• Research, analyze, design, propose and deliver IT architecture solutions appropriate for business and IT strategies in one or more domains.
• Take responsibility for technical planning, architecture development and modification of specifications.
• Develop specifications for new products/services, applications and service offerings.
• Assess the compatibility and integration of products/services proposed as standards to ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent technologies.
• Solve complex problems and take a new perspective using existing solutions.
• Use best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services.
• Interpret internal or external business issues and recommend best practices.
• Establish operational plans for the job area.
• Develop and implement new products, processes, standards or operational plans that impact functional results.
• Communicate with leadership.
• Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience.

What you'll need

• Degree in a technical area.
• Ten plus years of overall technology experience.
• Significant work experience including project management.

Details

• Works independently with minimal guidance.
• Normally reports to a Sr. leader or Director.
