What you'll do

• Attract and win new business opportunities in expert witness and/or strategic consulting.
• Contribute to the growth of the Electrical Engineering practice.
• Recruit talented staff for the Electrical Engineering practice.
• Mentor and drive growth of Electrical Engineering staff.
• Provide project management and oversee project budgets.

What you'll need

• Have an established track record for business development and an existing client base.
• Hold professional degrees: PhD or MS in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science & Engineering.
• Have ~6-8 years of work experience.
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Have previously testified in deposition, trial, arbitration, or hearings.
• Show strong expert report writing skills and analytics.

Details

• Role is available in either the Chicago or New York office.
• Compensation is $180,000–$250,000 USD, based on factors including experience, skills, and location.
• Ability to travel globally as needed.
• Ability to work odd hours to adjust to client needs globally.
