Overview
Lead capital engineering projects for manufacturing and supply chain facilities across North America, covering industrial automation, controls modernization, and OT cybersecurity.
What you'll do
- Manage capital projects from concept development through commissioning and startup.
- Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, business justifications, and execution strategies.
- Lead industrial automation and control system project delivery (PLC, HMI, SCADA, instrumentation, drives, motion/process control).
- Ensure control system designs align with engineering standards and cybersecurity requirements.
- Support digital manufacturing and Industry 4.0 initiatives using manufacturing data, analytics, and automation technologies.
- Partner to incorporate OT cybersecurity into project design, implementation, and commissioning, including secure architectures and governance.
- Lead FAT/SAT, commissioning, startup, and operational handoff activities.
What you'll need
- 5+ years of manufacturing, automation, controls, systems integration, or project engineering experience.
- Experience leading capital projects in a manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, industrial instrumentation, drives, and process controls.
- Understanding of industrial communications protocols including Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus TCP, and OPC UA.
- Knowledge of industrial network architecture and manufacturing system integration concepts.
- Working knowledge of OT cybersecurity principles and industrial control system risk management.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering/technical discipline.
