DNU Tech Lead - Infrastructure Services N 4C

Overview

Senior DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer role within a Scrum team, delivering foundational platform services for new product development.

What you'll do

• Develop Unix/Linux systems and lead performance work.
• Work on features in Scrum teams against assigned priorities.
• Deliver foundational platform services for new product development.
• Implement and automate installation, patching and upgrading of the platform.
• Recommend and establish monitoring for the solution.
• Configure and use alerting and supervision tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
• Configure and use the ELK stack.
• Implement a highly available, scalable and reliable system.
• Collaborate with system engineers, architects and principal engineers to implement solutions aligned with platform services, applying SDLC principles, Agile, CI, software and product security, application scaling, documentation practices, refactoring and testing techniques.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Database Management, Information Systems, Information Technology or Network Engineering.
• Strong Unix/Linux system development and performance leadership skills.
• Required language: English, proficient (C2).

Nice to have

• Knowledge of DevOps toolset such as Docker, Kickstart, Packer and Ansible.
• Experience in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, SRE, MLOps, or AI infrastructure, including meaningful production experience with AI/ML workloads.
• Experience operating multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud AI platforms and integrating on-premises services with CSP-hosted model endpoints.
• Very good written and presentation / verbal communication skills, with experience in a customer-interfacing role.
• In-depth requirement understanding, good analytical and problem-solving ability, interpersonal efficiency and a positive attitude.
• Scripting in Python, Shell and Bash.
• Ability to learn and understand system architecture quickly in a dynamic environment.
• Experience working with a Scrum team in an Agile environment.
• Exposure to securing and hardening OS and Docker containers.
• Exposure to Kubernetes.
• Certifications: CISSP and/or CCNP.
