Overview
Develop, customize, deploy, and enhance enterprise content management solutions using OpenText Documentum. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and compliant content management capabilities.
What you'll do
- Lead the design, development, customization, and deployment of Documentum-based applications, including D2, xCP, Webtop, and custom Documentum services.
- Develop and maintain Documentum objects, including workflows, lifecycles, job definitions, TBOs/SBOs, and custom components.
- Integrate Documentum with enterprise platforms, APIs, and external systems.
- Optimize the performance, scalability, and security of Documentum repositories.
- Support upgrade planning, environment migrations, and modernization of legacy Documentum applications.
- Troubleshoot complex issues in Documentum servers, repositories, and application layers.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and infrastructure teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Ensure adherence to compliance, retention, and regulatory requirements across document-centric processes.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to ECM governance, design standards, and best practices.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of hands-on experience with OpenText Documentum development.
- Experience with D2, xCP, Webtop, Composer, and Administrator.
- Strong proficiency in Documentum Foundation Classes (DFC), Documentum REST, Java, and related integration frameworks.
- Experience designing and implementing workflows, lifecycles, metadata models, and document security policies.
- Understanding of enterprise content management principles, information architecture, and document governance.
- Ability to analyze complex technical issues and deliver clear, actionable solutions.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Nice to have
- Experience with cloud-hosted Documentum environments or modernization initiatives.
- Familiarity with OpenText Extended ECM, Captiva/Intelligent Capture, or other OpenText products.
- Knowledge of DevOps pipelines, CI/CD, and automated deployments.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work across technical and business teams.
Details
- Remote position; employees in remote roles work primarily offsite from home.
- The employee may be expected to travel to the Santa Isabel site location as needed.
- Candidates may be asked to attend select interview steps in person at one of the office locations.
- Security clearance is not required.
- This is a U.S.-based role.
