Dotnet Developer (Microservices)

Overview

Join an international team working on FIS Enterprise Suite, a high-volume, high-performance cloud-enabled valuation and risk calculation engine, along with related components. Active development is in C# with a small amount of C++.

What you'll do

• Analyze and resolve issues on an industry-leading Credit and Market Risk system.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain services and RESTful APIs using C# and .NET.
• Own features from technical design through implementation, deployment, and production support.
• Contribute to microservices design, including service boundaries, communication patterns, resilience, and data consistency.
• Investigate and resolve application, performance, and integration issues across components.
• Write automated tests, participate in code reviews, and improve code quality and maintainability.
• Lead and mentor team members and foster a collaborative, high-performance culture.
• Interact with clients, client services, development and product managers, and provide fast resolution of critical problems.

What you'll need

• 9 to 14 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with C# and depth of understanding of .NET.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Strong understanding of low-level and high-level design patterns.
• Experience or good knowledge of relational databases such as MSSQL and Postgres.
• Experience with microservices, event-driven systems, or distributed systems.
• Exposure to testing, security scans, and CI/CD.
• A passion for solving complex problems with high performance and high-quality code.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to understand product functionality and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with multiple global teams.
• Graduate or postgraduate degree in computer engineering (B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech), or a Master's in computer applications (MCA), or a graduate from any discipline with solid experience in computer engineering.

Nice to have

• Experience with Redis, RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, or AWS.
• Exposure to agentic development.
• Experience working in the financial sector.
