QA Engineer III

Overview

Own key features and components of the Ecosystem Team, participating in all phases of software development including requirements, design, coding, unit testing, debugging and performance tuning.

What you'll do

• Design and develop products in areas such as K8s, OpenStack, and other cutting-edge technologies.
• Perform unit testing and code reviews.
• Design and implement effective automation tests for the CI/CD pipeline.
• Instrument code to collect metrics for monitoring and supportability.
• Address issues found in the CI pipeline or production.
• Work across backend and frontend teams, infrastructure, and domain teams.
• Work in an agile manner with self-motivation.

What you'll need

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in software development using golang, java or C++.
• Strong programming skills, well versed in foundational aspects of computer science and OOP.
• Experience with the Spring Framework.
• Excellent system design and object-oriented design skills.
• Experience implementing REST APIs and their integrations into frontend and other services.
• Understanding of networking and distributed system design.
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Strong, concise communication skills to articulate thought process.
• Validated ability to deliver on schedule.
• BS or MS in Computer Science.

Nice to have

• Experience developing in agile environments.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker or other infrastructure software.
• Experience deploying a global service in AWS or Azure.
• Experience working on live enterprise-grade scale services.
• Understanding of deployment issues in a complex environment (security, networking, load balancers, service dependencies, disaster recovery, etc.).
• Security and compliance consciousness.

• Location: Pune Office.
• Requires participation in an on-call rotation to provide after-hours support as needed.
