EAI Software Engineer

Overview

Mid-level EAI Software Engineer focused on enterprise integration services and APIs for event-driven and microservices platforms.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise integration solutions using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Build microservices and APIs connecting enterprise systems using Kafka and GCP services.
• Provide production support, including troubleshooting and implementing reliable fixes.
• Implement reusable services and automation for real-time data pipelines and business processes.
• Collaborate with architects and developers to translate requirements into scalable, secure solutions.
• Write maintainable code with unit and integration tests, and use GitLab CI/CD for delivery.
• Follow DevSecOps and API design best practices for security, logging, monitoring, and performance.

What you'll need

• 3–5 years of software engineering experience focused on backend development, APIs, or enterprise integration.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript for APIs, microservices, and integration services.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Experience with open-source environments and Git/GitLab.
• Hands-on knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services like Pub/Sub and Cloud Run.
• Experience with Kafka and KSQL in event-driven or messaging architectures.
• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases such as MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, and SQL Server.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree (preferred).
• Exposure to Terraform, ArgoCD, and API Gateway technologies like Gloo/Solo Enterprise.

Details

• On-site requirement: 4 days a week in Hyderabad.
• Time zone: work during US EST.
