Overview
Mid-level Industrial Electrical Design Engineer to remotely join AECOM Water’s Denver, Colorado team in the United States.
What you'll do
- Design and develop medium- and low-voltage electrical industrial power systems.
- Implement process instrumentation and control systems for facility operations.
- Prepare engineering studies, reports, calculations, designs, specifications, and cost estimates while complying with codes and standards.
- Manage electrical designs during construction by reviewing shop drawings and responding to information requests.
- Coordinate with a project team and other disciplines.
- Set electrical equipment performance parameters and collaborate with equipment vendors.
- Use industry-standard software and tools for electrical design and analysis.
What you'll need
- BA/BS with 4 years of relevant experience (or demonstrated equivalency).
- Experience designing medium- and low-voltage electrical industrial power systems.
- Knowledge of switchgear, switchboards, motor control centers, and variable frequency drives.
- Ability to perform engineering studies, reports, calculations, and designs.
- Capability to ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
- Proficiency using industry-standard electrical design and analysis software and tools.
