Overnight Maintenance Electrician (B Shift)

Overview

Overnight Maintenance Electrician for Sika’s Roofing business in the Canton, MA area. You’ll maintain and troubleshoot mechanical/electrical/PLC-controlled machinery and perform preventative maintenance.

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machinery in buildings.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Repair, install, replace, and test electrical circuits and equipment.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems/components using test equipment (voltmeter, ohmmeter, megohmmeter).
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment.
• Complete work orders and maintenance log books while working independently.

What you'll need

• Licensed journeyman electrician in Massachusetts.
• 5 years industrial or manufacturing related work experience.
• Experience running EMT and rigid conduit, including threading and bending (1/2" to 2").
• Experience with electrical networking and control systems.
• Knowledge of AC motor controls, DC motors and controls, variable frequency drives, and pneumatic/hydraulic controls from diagrams/schematics.
• Computer skills with Word, Excel, and email.
• Understanding of PLC-controlled production lines.
• High school degree.

• Shift: B-Shift, Sun, Mon, Tues and every other Wednesday, 6pm to 6am.
