Electrical Engineer

Overview

Mid-level Industrial Electrical Design Engineer to remotely join the Denver, Colorado team.

What you'll do

• Design and develop medium and low-voltage industrial power systems.
• Implement process instrumentation and control systems.
• Prepare engineering studies, reports, calculations, designs, and specifications.
• Manage electrical designs during construction, including shop drawing review and punch lists.
• Collaborate with other disciplines within a project team.
• Set electrical equipment performance parameters and coordinate with equipment vendors.

What you'll need

• BA/BS with 4 years of relevant experience (or demonstrated equivalency).
• Experience with medium and low-voltage electrical industrial power systems.
• Experience related to switchgear, switchboards, motor control centers, and VFDs.
• Ability to ensure designs comply with applicable codes and standards.
• Proficiency using industry-standard software and tools for electrical design and analysis.
• Ability to review shop drawings, respond to information requests, and prepare punch lists.

Nice to have

• Licensed as a Professional Engineer in California, or ability to obtain licensure through reciprocity.
