Overview
Electrical Engineer for Seat Integration supporting electrical design and certification activities for commercial aircraft passenger seats.
What you'll do
- Develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements and solutions for passenger seats.
- Review supplier data for seat electrical integration approval, including electrical drawings and qualification data.
- Define, draft, and review certification design documentation for aircraft seating products.
- Collaborate with the Office of Airworthiness and regulatory authorities for safe, compliant cabin modification.
- Coordinate with the Type-Certificate holder to ensure seamless seating integration at or following delivery.
- Supervise supplier performance to ensure integration and compliance with requirements.
What you'll need
- For Experienced Level 3: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Avionics, Aerospace, Aeronautical and Manufacturing Engineering) or higher.
- For Experienced Level 3: 5+ years of aerospace industry experience in a Design or Production Organization (EASA or FAA approved).
- For Senior Level 4 / CVE: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Avionics, Aerospace, Aeronautical and Manufacturing Engineering) or higher.
- For Senior Level 4 / CVE: 10+ years of aerospace industry experience in a Design or Production Organization.
- Experience/knowledge with RTCA DO-160, RTCA DO-178C, RTCA DO-254, and System Safety Assessment.
- Experience using tools including CATIA V5/V6, ENOVIA, IVT, and AutoCAD.
