Embedded Systems and CPU Content Developer (Staff/Senior Staff)

Overview

Embedded systems and CPU content developer contributing to the concurrent CPU validation framework, focused on CPU core/uncore validation and stress content development, low-level firmware, platform bring-up, validation automation, and complex silicon debug.

What you'll do

• Contribute to the concurrent CPU validation framework
• Develop CPU core/uncore validation and stress content
• Work on low-level firmware and platform bring-up
• Build validation automation and complex silicon debug

What you'll need

• 5 to 13 years of relevant experience (a must)
• Strong C/C++ programming for embedded/low-level systems
• Assembly programming, preferably ARM/AArch64 or RISC-V
• Bare-metal and RTOS development/debug
• Good knowledge of ARM/AArch64 and RISC-V architectures
• CPU stress content development
• Understanding of cache/coherency, MMU/TLB, interrupts, exceptions, system registers, memory ordering, and multicore synchronization
• Understanding of Low-Power Management (LPM) and DVFS
• Experience with CPU/SoC platform bring-up and silicon debug
• Experience with JTAG / Lauterbach Trace32 (T32) or similar debug tools
• Python scripting for validation automation and regression
• Exposure to CI/CD and automated validation environments
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 3+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience, or Master's degree in the same fields and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience, or PhD in the same fields and 1+ year of Hardware Engineering or related work experience
