Employee Support Specialist (HR, Payroll & Global Employment) – EMEA

Overview

Provide end-to-end employee and client support across EMEA throughout the employment lifecycle. Investigate employment-related cases, coordinate resolutions with specialist teams, and maintain communication until closure.

What you'll do

• Own employee and client support cases from query through resolution.
• Investigate payroll, tax, benefits, leave, contract, onboarding, and offboarding questions.
• Identify root causes using case history, systems, documentation, and country guidance.
• Coordinate with Payroll, Legal, Finance, Benefits, Customer Success, and local providers.
• Manage a high-volume queue, prioritise urgent matters, and meet SLAs.
• Document outcomes and identify recurring issues and process improvements.
• Contribute to knowledge-base articles, SOPs, and scalable support processes.

What you'll need

• At least 3 years of experience in employee support, HR operations, payroll support, global employment, EOR/PEO, HRTech, or multinational HR shared services.
• Experience supporting employees or clients across multiple EMEA countries.
• Experience handling payroll, benefits, leave, contracts, amendments, onboarding, offboarding, or compliance cases.
• Ability to investigate issues, involve appropriate stakeholders, and drive resolution independently.
• Experience with ticketing or case-management environments and SLAs, quality metrics, CSAT, or case volumes.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong judgement, attention to detail, and prioritisation skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Zendesk, ServiceNow, Jira, Salesforce, Workday, BambooHR, or similar platforms.
