Overview
As an Engineer, you deliver the engineering that powers the product by designing robust, scalable software components and solving engineering problems with quality and operational ownership.
What you'll do
- Provide input to help evaluate new technologies and contribute to service design and lifecycle management.
- Contribute to research and proof-of-concept initiatives for new technologies.
- Assist with code review and design review, and write/organize/maintain code based on designs.
- Deliver high-performance, scalable, repeatable, and secure deliverables with guidance.
- Participate in construction, automation, debugging, and implementation activities to meet architectural and operational requirements.
- Support disaster recovery planning and activities, and participate in functional integration and regression testing with automated test scripts.
- Resolve technical issues, monitor systems capacity, and adhere to change and incident management standards.
What you'll need
- 4 year degree or equivalent experience.
- 1+ years of software development experience.
- Proficiency in at least one computer language.
- Working knowledge of authentication/authorization concepts including OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect.
- Understanding of distributed programming concepts applied to your domain.
- Knowledge of data structures in your chosen programming language.
- Stays current with new and evolving technologies via formal training and self-directed education.
Details
- Pay range: $75,400.00 - $135,700.00.
- Work arrangement: Hybrid/Flex for Your Day (core role performed onsite at Target HQ in MN and virtually depending on needs).
- Work duties cannot be performed outside the country of the primary work location unless prescribed by Target.
