Engineer - Target India-2

Overview

As an Engineer, you serve as a technical specialist delivering engineering for the product, with a focus on scalable, secure software components and code quality.

What you'll do

• Provide input for evaluating new technologies and contribute to service design and lifecycle management.
• Contribute to research and proof-of-concept initiatives for new technologies.
• Assist with code review and design review, and write, organize, and maintain code based on designs.
• Deliver high-performance, scalable, repeatable, and secure deliverables with guidance.
• Participate in construction, automation, debugging, and implementation to meet architectural and operational requirements.
• Support disaster recovery planning and disaster recovery activities; perform functional integration and regression testing and automate test scripts.
• Resolve technical issues, monitor system capacity, search and understand metadata for data sources and metrics, and follow change/incident management standards.

What you'll need

• 4 year degree or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of software development experience.
• Familiarity with current and emerging technologies in your scope of responsibility.
• Proficiency in at least one computer language.
• Understanding of distributed programming and applying it in your domain.
• Knowledge of data structures in your chosen programming language.
• Ability to stay current with evolving technologies via formal training and self-directed education.
