Engineer - Target India-55

Overview

Engineer (Technical Specialist) responsible for delivering robust, scalable software components and supporting engineering quality through design, code review, testing, and operational troubleshooting.

What you'll do

• Provide input to evaluate new technologies and contribute to service design, lifecycle management, and total cost of ownership.
• Contribute to research and proof-of-concept initiatives for new technologies.
• Assist with code review and design review, and write, organize, and maintain code based on designs.
• Deliver high-performance, scalable, repeatable, and secure deliverables with guidance.
• Participate in construction, automation, debugging, and implementation activities to meet architectural and operational requirements.
• Support disaster recovery planning and disaster recovery activities.
• Participate in functional integration and regression testing and automate test scripts.

What you'll need

• 4-year degree or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of software development experience.
• Familiarity with current and emerging technologies in your scope of responsibility.
• Proficiency in at least one computer language.
• Understanding of distributed programming concepts and how to apply them.
• Knowledge of data structures in your chosen programming language and how to apply them.
• Ability to maintain and stay current with technical knowledge via formal training and self-directed education.
