Engineer - Target India

Overview

Engineer (Target India) working as a technical specialist to deliver robust, scalable software components and support engineering operations with minimal oversight.

What you'll do

• Provide input on evaluating new technologies and contribute to service design and lifecycle management.
• Support research and proof-of-concept initiatives for new technologies.
• Assist with code review and design review, and write/organize/maintain code based on designs.
• Deliver high-performance, scalable, repeatable, and secure deliverables with guidance.
• Participate in construction, automation, debugging, and implementation to meet architectural and operational requirements.
• Assist with disaster recovery planning and disaster recovery activities.
• Perform functional integration and regression testing; automate test scripts and resolve technical issues.

What you'll need

• 4 year degree or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in at least one computer language.
• Understanding of distributed programming concepts and how to apply them.
• Knowledge of data structures in a chosen programming language and how to apply them.
• Familiarity with current and emerging technologies within scope and ability to apply them.
• Stay current with new/evolving technologies via formal training and self-directed education.
