Software Engineer L2-Messaging API

Overview

Twilio is hiring a Software Engineer (L2) for the Messaging API on the Comms Engineering team. You will build, maintain, and operate software at scale that enables communications across multiple channels.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain software.
• Build backend services and APIs with a small collaborative team.
• Perform thorough code reviews to maintain code quality.
• Support production operations by building, releasing, and assisting with team on-call.
• Craft clear and concise documentation.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Go or Java.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation.

Details

• Remote role, not eligible to be hired in San Francisco Bay area locations listed.
• Travel may be required occasionally for in-person team/project/customer meetings.
