Engineer-design

Overview

Design Engineer providing CAD-based engineering design support for the generator domain. You’ll manage projects from request through start-to-end delivery, ensuring timeline and quality expectations.

What you'll do

• Receive and analyze project requests to estimate scope and timelines.
• Assist in planning and solutioning for large projects.
• Independently handle small individual projects.
• Execute project requests to meet business unit requirements for scope and timelines.
• Coordinate with managers and teams to complete projects end-to-end.
• Address technical and non-technical issues impacting project delivery.
• Maintain documentation and contribute value-added design improvements and cost reductions.

What you'll need

• Engineering degree (B.E.) with 4–6 years of relevant experience.
• OR Diploma with 8 years of relevant experience.
• Work experience/knowledge in CAD tool (Creo).
• Ability to work on PLM systems (preferably Windchill).
• Ability to work on ERP systems (preferably SAP) under manager guidance.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, with sheet metal as an advantage.
• Contribute to documentation with support to junior associates/trainees.
