Overview

Engineer in Design Evaluation Engineering for an agile advanced data converters group, working across RF and signal processing product development from definition through production release.

What you'll do

• Act as a central interface with design, test, applications, software, and marketing teams during product completion and distribution.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to gather data needed for hardware release and supporting datasheet.
• Develop verification and characterization test plans and automate data collection via software.
• Perform lab analysis and evaluation of new systems to identify, simulate, and correct functional/parametric issues.
• Support characterization of pre-release silicon across analog, digital, and firmware/algorithm components.
• Verify and release embedded software and take ARM software and silicon from early development to production release.

What you'll need

• Minimum BE/B Tech in Electrical/Electronics/Communication Engineering.
• 1–4 years of experience in wireless transceiver or telecommunications industry.
• Knowledgeable in RF measurements and signal processing.
• Experience with circuit evaluation and characterization using bench test equipment (e.g., spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal generators, network analyzers, vector signal analyzers).
• Working experience with transceivers and sub-blocks (PLLs, mixers, LNAs, ADCs/DACs, JESD).
• Programming knowledge; LabVIEW, C#, Python and Teststand are preferred.
• Familiar with simulation tools such as ADS and Cadence.
