Radar Signal Processing Engineer

Overview

Radar Signal Processing Engineer supporting end-to-end ownership of RADAR algorithms, platform integration, system-level software development, and validation for automotive electronics projects.

What you'll do

• Design and optimize signal processing algorithms for RADAR automotive applications.
• Develop and support platform integration and system-level software.
• Use FFT, spectral analysis, beamforming, and angle estimation for radar processing.
• Build and validate object detection, classification, and target tracking (including multi-object tracking).
• Conduct detailed performance analysis and troubleshoot software/hardware issues.
• Support advanced development process activities like analysis, design, reviews, and verification testing.

What you'll need

• Hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Have hands-on experience with FFT, beamforming, detection, and tracking algorithms.
• Program embedded systems in C/C++ and/or Python.
• Understand DSP concepts including SNR, signal-to-clutter analysis, and real-time embedded software.
• Know RTOS concepts, task scheduling, and inter-process communication.
• Have strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Be proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Nice to have

• Experience with FMCW radars and Kalman filters for detection/classification.
• Experience with NXP Racerunner microcontrollers.
• Ability to document implemented algorithms.
