Engineer I Product Design

Overview

Engineer I Product Design to support New Product Development (NPD) and sustaining engineering projects in the HVACR domain at Pune, India.

What you’ll do

• Translate marketing and customer requirements into design concepts.
• Create 3D models and 2D drawings for product designs.
• Perform advanced engineering analyses using defined methodologies.
• Oversee the NPD design process aligned to company standards and policies.
• Coordinate design activities with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver projects.
• Maintain engineering documentation and bill of materials in Teamcenter.

What you’ll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience.
• Proficiency in UG NX and drafting/CAD tools such as Draftsight/AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of HVACR systems and mechanical engineering fundamentals.
• Solid knowledge of engineering principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent oral and written communication and collaboration skills.
• Expertise in plastics and sheet metal part manufacturing.
