Application Engineer I

Overview

Application Engineer I to support pre-sales engineering for Fire Detection System global projects, aligned to country-specific standards.

What you'll do

• Support pre-sales engineering for Fire Detection System global projects per country standards.
• Review project inputs and specifications to capture scope and requirements.
• Review MEP drawings and identify relevant equipment for Fire Detection System.
• Prepare bill of material, cost estimating, and costing sheets for bids.
• Prepare documentation such as technical write-ups, block diagrams, and deviation charts.
• Ensure quality assurance, defect-free deliverables, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction.
• Escalate issues on time with evidence, and manage escalations affecting delivery schedules.

What you'll need

• BE/ME in Instrumentation / Electrical / Electronics / Electronics & Communication.
• Basic knowledge of bill of material preparation and cost estimation.
• Strong Fire Detection System expertise.
• Expertise in NFPA / BS 5839 / EN / FM.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio), and Blue Beam.
• Ability to communicate in written and verbal forms.
• Preferred: 8 to 12 years of relevant Fire Detection System experience.
