Engineer I Design Engineer

Overview

Engineer I Design Engineer responsible for engineering change management and core design documentation, including ECN execution, drawing work, and BOM management using PLM tools.

What you'll do

• Execute engineering change notices (ECNs) and ensure accurate updates in design documentation.
• Create, review, and modify 3D models and 2D drawings to engineering standards.
• Apply GD & T and tolerance stack-up to verify part fitment and propose solutions.
• Maintain bills of materials (BOM) within PLM systems.
• Work with PLM tools for data management, version control, and release processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and conduct design reviews.

What you'll need

• BE/BTech in Mechanical.
• 1–2 years of design engineering experience for refrigeration/air conditioning applications.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems.
• Strong CAD skills for creating 3D models and 2D drawings.
• Preferable CAD tool: Unigraphics-NX.
• Good understanding of PLM workflow, BOM, and ECN.
• Strong command of English (written and verbal).
